We have a small kitchen but it's still the center of our home. Like most families, we are always in this room. I love the tile backsplash but it only took about a month of cooking here to realize I did not love the tile counter tops. The grout was never clean enough and the tiles weren't even which makes baking a challenge. On top of that, the tile edging would always snag my clothing at hip length and rip holes in my shirts. [I'm not much of an apron fan.]
At a random channel change one day, I caught the end of a commercial on TV and heard something about granite, counter tops, and easy installation. I saw the company name, Granite Transformations and signed us up for an estimate. Done in a day installation, no sealing or tedious maintenance ... ever, super durable, non-porous, smooth, flat, good-for-current-use-and-resale granite with a lifetime and transferable warranty? Yes, please.
Here's one section of the granite overlay from the factory. We also had a new inset, granite sink installed.
And here is our granite transformation. I am loving working in this kitchen now. I even keep the kitchen cleaner now just to be able to see more counter space. We are all so happy with this little upgrade.

This is the first time we've seen the completed kitchen. Wonderfully snappy!
