It was time for a new book to read to the children. They chose between Mrs. Piggle Wiggle, the first book in A Series of Unfortunate
Events, and our first Boxcar Children mystery. The mystery won hands
down and it has not disappointed. Ms. Warner has a gift and leaves them wanting more each chapter. Each night they beg to have one more chapter read - if it's one, they beg for two, if we've read two, they'll beg for a third. It's filled with positive attitudes and language as well as exciting writing and storytelling. This series is definitely still a winner.

I haven't read the series, but it sounds like a definite winner. Good for you for reading each day with the children. Such a blessing for their lives.
