I got the kids involved and we made three of these Martha Stewart cheesecloth ghosts as there was an outcry at our house for a more spooky ambience this Halloween.
Once we got the materials, it went well. The problem came when we put them outside. The fall wind whipped the cheesecloth around and bunched up the fabric to reveal the wire skeleton underneath. Not spooky. So I would add to the instructions [and did this myself since I want to reuse them] to stitch the cheesecloth to the gauze or muslin on each side in front and back. Also, to pin the front and back of the muslin to the nylon/batting for extra security. I used a simple zig zag stitch and so far they've stayed in place. Spooky indeed.
