I got inspired from Pinterest when we needed a thank-you gift for our school's art teacher. Our oldest has been taking pottery classes with her for the last month. She volunteered to take this on after school twice during the year for children that don't have a lot of extra-curricular opportunities at the school. Teachers are the best!
